The future of driving

After many years of research and testing, the final results of the three European projects COOPERS, SAFESPOT and CVIS will be presented at the Cooperative Mobility Showcase 2010. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to experience the new techniques in vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure communications hands-on. Numerous demonstrator cars are available on the public road and on a test track. There is a limited amount of seats available. Delegates of the Cooperative Mobility Conference 2010 are guaranteed to be able to participate in these unique demonstrations.

Live demonstrations in the Public Road Tour will include:

  • Travel information
  • Parking guidance
  • Cooperative intersection
  • Intelligent routing
  • In car traffic management
     

Live Safety demonstrations will include:

  • Hazard & incident warning
  • Safety at intersections
  • Safety margin for assistance & emergency vehicle
  • Lane change assistance
  • Head-on collision warning
  • Frontal collision prevention


In the demonstrations will be shown how the deployment of European cooperative systems will enhance safety and mobility, reduce the impact on the environment and support end-users.
